Standard First Aid
Meets State of Connecticut requirements for school coaches. Standard First Aid is a comprehensive course that covers American Red Cross Adult CPR and Standard First Aid. Also helps meet OSHA work site first aid training requirements. **Students must have a current certificate to sign up for the Review class. If registering by mail a copy of the certificate must accompany the form. If registering in person you must produce the certificate at that time.

Community First Aid and Safety
Meets State of Connecticut requirements for school coaches. The Community First Aid and Safety course is a course that covers First Aid procedures as well as Adult, Infant and Child CPR. Community CPR
Learn how to reduce the risk of injury or death by properly recognizing breathing and cardiac emergencies and administering the appropriate CPR measures to victims of all ages. Learn when and how to use the emergency medical system, and how to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. **Students must have a current certificate to sign up for the Review class. If registering by mail a copy of the certificate must accompany the form. If registering in person you must produce the certificate at that time.

Connecticut Child Care
Approved by the State of Connecticut for day care licensing requirements. Teaches adults to administer First Aid and Infant/Child CPR, prevent accidents, and recognize communicable diseases in children. Also appropriate for parents, grandparents, and child caregivers. This course has been approved by the State of Connecticut for Home Care and Day Care providers. Please bring a lunch for Saturday classes. **Students must have a current certificate to sign up for the Review class. If registering by mail a copy of the certificate must accompany the form. If registering in person you must produce the certificate at that time.

CPR for the Professional Rescuer
A course for professional rescuers that teaches individuals how to respond alone, or with a partner, to breathing/cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants; use of both resuscitation and bag-valve masks. Please bring a lunch for Saturday courses. **Students must have a current certificate to sign up for the Review class.

The purchase of a pocket mask is required for first time students.

Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
The purpose of this course is to make participants familiar
with the use of Automated External Defibrillation for victims of cardiac
arrest and how to safely operate the device. Prerequisite: You must
have a current American Red Cross Adult CPR certificate or equivalent that
has been issued within 1 year of the course completion. When registering
you must include a copy of your current CPR certification. Cost: $20.00
per person

Babysitting
The course is designed to teach young people the best
way to keep themselves and the children in their care safe.
The course includes instruction in critical first aid
and problem solving skills when clear thinking can be difficult.
It covers basic care routines like feeding, diapering,
dressing, and preparing simple meals for infants and children
as well as handling bedtime issues and choosing age appropriate
toys and games. Recommended for 11yrs and up.
