PREPARE CONNECTICUT
 
The State of Connecticut has officially proclaimed that Connecticut will become the most prepared state in the country for natural disasters, such as floods and storms, and for man-made disasters, such as accidents involving hazardous materials or deliberate acts of terrorism.
 
To accomplish this goal, all residents are encouraged to become prepared through the American Red Cross'
 

Prepare Connecticut Campaign.
 
The State has recognized the Milford Chapter of the American Red Cross for supporting this statewide effort to ensure that all Connecticut families have the knowledge, tools and skills that will enable them to survive in the event of a major disaster.
 
Prepare Connecticut urges residents to complete four simple steps:
 

  • Build a kit   a 2 person Disaster Kit can be purchased at the  Milford Chapter - call 874-2531 for details

  • Make a plan

  • Get trained

  • Give blood
