VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
AMERICAN RED CROSS – MILFORD CHAPTER
v Health and Safety: Become an instructor and teach valuable life saving skills such as CPR, First Aid, Babysitter’s Training. We would appreciate approximately 6-9 hours a month of your time.
v Blood Services: Volunteer at blood drives to greet donors, show them how to fill out registration cards, and serve refreshments. We would appreciate 3-6 hours a month of your time.
v Drivers for Medical Appointments: Provide Milford residents with transportation to medical appointments using our Red Cross vehicles. We would appreciate 1 day (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) a week of your time.
v Disaster Services: Provide emergency assistance to members of the Milford community in times of need. Your time commitment would vary.
v Social Services: Provide non-disaster, after hours help to Milford residents in need of food or shelter. This service is provided via telephone from your home. We would appreciate your being on call 1 evening per week.
The American Red Cross requires a background check for all volunteers and a drivers license check where needed.
All volunteers will receive orientation and training. Volunteering with the Red Cross is an opportunity to learn new skills, sharpen old skills and serve your community at the same time.
