Your child wants to baby sit to earn some spending money.  Worried that this is a big responsibility?

Here is the solution -
BABYSITTER'S TRAINING

Babysitter's Training is an excellent opportunity to prepare young people for the many responsibilities associated with caring for infants and young children.  Every year, nearly 4.5 million children age 14 and younger are injured in the home.  Make sure that the babysitters you employ are confident and responsible in ensuring their own safety as well as the safety of those in their care.  Enrolling your child in an American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course, designed for youth 11 to 15, can do this.  This course provides youth with a range of injury prevention and safety skills, as well as training in decision making, basic childcare, leadership and professionalism.  The American Red Cross Babysitter's Training also includes essential first aid skill training to be used in the event of an emergency.

The Babysitter's Training course is an interactive, activity based program.  Each participant will receive a full color, content rich Babysitter's Handbook.  This teen friendly resource is filled with valuable, easy-to-use information, which the instructor encourages the participant to take with them to every job.

Pre-registration and payment of $40.00 is necessary to reserve a space in the class.
