Safe Rides

Safe Rides is a program that has increased public safety and community service since 1982.  Adult-supervised youth provide safe, free, confidential rides home on Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Safe Rides members are
trained volunteers with
energy and commitment
to serve the community.
Youth volunteers are
high school students in
grades 9 -12.  Through
this program, youth are
engaged in community
service and are able to help people

“when help can’t wait.”

If you need a ride during service hours, please call 869-8445.

If you would like more information about Safe Rides or would like to become a volunteer, call  203.869.8444 and ask for Youth Services or just click here.
