HIV/AIDS Education The
American Red Cross,
These goals are accomplished through our educational programs. The
Greenwich Chapter offers the following HIV/AIDS education programs: Ø
BASIC
HIV/AIDS Education Program: Our
basic HIV/AIDS Program uses fact-based discussion to reinforce information
about HIV transmission and prevention, dispel myths about HIV and AIDS,
and help participants learn from their own experiences and those of
others. Activities encourage people to apply the facts to their own
behaviors. Ø
HIV/AIDS
Education Programs for Youth: All
of the American Red Cross HIV/AIDS programs provide opportunities for
reaching youth. The American Red Cross approach involves providing
age-appropriate HIV/AIDS education from an early age through adolescence
and young adulthood. If you would like more information about HIV/AIDS Education, please contact the Health & Safety Office at 203.869.8444. If you would like to volunteer as an instructor, please contact the Volunteer Office at 203.869.8444 or click here. |
