Recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children: identify and care for life threatening bleeding, sudden illness and injuries. This course also teaches individuals the skills and knowledge needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
