Disaster Services
The Greenwich Chapter's Disaster Services component responds to disasters such as hurricanes, floods, fires, or any other situation that causes human suffering or creates human needs that those affected can not alleviate without assistance.

Each year, the American Red Cross responds to more than 60,000 disasters house or apartment fires (the majority of disaster responses), hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hazardous materials spills, transportation accidents, explosions, and other natural and man-made disasters.

If you are interested in volunteering please contact staff at the Greenwich Chapter or take a look at our description and schedule of disaster classes.
