FAMILY SERVICES: PROVIDING EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE The purpose of this course is to enable Red Cross workers to meet the emergency needs of families on an individual basis following a disaster. This course is designed to help participants develop the interview skills, knowledge, and relationships necessary to meet the disaster caused needs of the individuals and families.
