Workplace and Group Training Programs
The American Red Cross Workplace and Group Training Program provides the latest in lifesaving and safety instruction at the convenience of your workplace, clubhouse, church or community center.  New, streamlined Workplace and Group Training Programs mean shorter instruction time, making it even easier to fit training into busy schedules.

Select the program option below that best meets your needs.  You may also choose to participate in more than one program if it better suits your organization’s needs.
Flexible Training Programs — It’s Your Choice!

Option 1 - Full Service Program
As a member of our Full Service Workplace and Group Training Program, your organization can select the training classes most relevant to your organization on the date and time of your choice (subject to instructor availability).  We will provide everything you need: American Red Cross certified instructors, training supplies and participant materials.  Choose one of our core courses, such as Standard First Aid or Adult CPR/AED.  Then add a supplemental module such as Ergonomics; Slips, Trips and Falls; Back Injury Prevention or Workplace Violence Awareness to increase prevention at your organization.

Option 2 – Community Course Program
For those organizations that have fewer than seven employees or members needing training, we have classes available during the daytime, evenings and weekends at community locations.  To view a schedule of community classes and locations, and to register online, visit our online catalogue.

Option 3 - Authorized Provider Program
As a member of our Authorized Provider Program, one or more individuals within your organization become a Red Cross-trained instructor who can provide American Red Cross health and safety programs in-house.  By becoming an Authorized Provider, you can:

• Build your own training team to teach health and safety courses to employees of your business or members of your organization
• Conduct classes when and wherever you choose
• Have in-house experts available when you need them and direct technical support from the Connecticut Regional Chapter of the American Red Cross
• Training materials can be purchased by your organization for repeat use or rented from us when needed.
  

Option 4 – Blended Learning Program
Enroll employees or members in our Blended Learning training.  The first part of the training is accessed online at the individual’s convenience, followed by an instructor-led skills practice and assessment.
