When an emergency or disaster strikes, will your business be ready?  Have you given enough consideration to the "human element" in your Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)? 

Power outages, brown-outs or surges can affect your daily business operations.  Many disasters, like flooding, severe storms, hurricanes or tornadoes, can strike quickly and with little or no warning.  Medical emergencies – heart attacks, sudden cardiac arrest, seizures – can also strike with little or no advance warning.

For businesses large and small, being prepared for an emergency makes good business sense.  And so is helping your employees and their families to prepare at home.
